The downtown reality
Rogers Centre shares its immediate neighbourhood with the CN Tower, the aquarium, Scotiabank Arena and the convention centre. On a warm Saturday, several of those have events at the same time, and the garages fill early and empty slowly.
Street parking near the dome on a game day is essentially theoretical. The garages that exist are expensive and take a long time to exit.
