How Limo Rental Pricing Works in Toronto
Two pricing models, one written quote, and no arithmetic that changes between the booking and the invoice. Here is exactly how we arrive at your number.
Two ways a limousine is priced
Almost every limousine booking in Toronto is quoted one of two ways, and knowing which one your trip falls into is most of the battle.
1. Flat point-to-point fare
Used for airport transfers and any trip that goes from A to B without waiting: your address to Pearson, a downtown hotel to a Mississauga office, Toronto to Niagara Falls. One agreed number covers the whole journey. If the Gardiner is a car park that evening, the price is unchanged — the traffic risk sits with us, which is the entire point of booking in advance.
2. Hourly, with a minimum
Used when the vehicle stays with you: weddings, proms, party bus nights, winery tours, roadshows and as-directed days. You book a block of hours and the vehicle and chauffeur are yours for it. Most occasion vehicles carry a three to five hour minimum, higher on peak dates. Extra time on the day is added in fair increments at the same rate you already agreed.

- Airport access fees and terminal parking
- Included wait time after a flight lands
- Child seats, ribbon and decoration on wedding cars, ice and glassware

Shown separately, so you decide: gratuity for the chauffeur. Charged only if you add it: extra hours beyond the booking, additional stops not on the itinerary, or a vehicle upgrade on the day.

How to get the best price
- Book early. There are a fixed number of stretch limousines in this region. Late bookings pay scarcity.
- Be honest about the group size. Booking a ten-seater for twelve people does not save money; it results in a vehicle change and a new price.
- Consider one bigger vehicle. A party bus for thirty is usually cheaper than three stretch limousines, and far more fun.
- Ask about the shoulder hours. Moving a pickup an hour earlier can move you out of a peak band.
- Tell us if a flat fare would work. If you do not actually need the car to wait, point-to-point is often cheaper than hourly.
Pricing questions
Why do you not publish a price list?
Because a published rate for “a limo” would be wrong for almost everyone who read it. The same stretch limousine costs differently on a Wednesday in January and a Saturday in June, and a four-hour wedding with three pickups is a different job from a four-hour airport day. We would rather quote your actual trip, in writing, than advertise a number that changes at checkout.
What makes the price go up or down?
Vehicle class, the number of hours, the day of the week, the season, the distance, and how many separate pickups or drop-offs are involved. Weekday daytime work is the cheapest thing we do. Prom Saturdays, New Year's Eve and summer wedding Saturdays are the most expensive, because every vehicle in the region is committed.
Is gratuity included?
It is shown as a separate, clearly-labelled line on your quote so that it stays your decision rather than ours. Many clients leave the standard amount; some adjust it up after a chauffeur has had a long night. What we will not do is bury it inside a total and call the total all-inclusive.
Do you take a deposit?
For occasion vehicles — stretch limousines, Hummer limos and party buses — yes, because the vehicle is held out of service for your date. Airport and point-to-point work usually needs no deposit at all. Amounts and cancellation windows are printed on your confirmation before you pay anything.
