Prom Limo Rules Every Toronto Parent Should Know

Students book the arrival. Parents book the certainty that everyone gets home. A good operator serves both without pretending they are the same thing.

Prom & Graduation

One adult books, and the itinerary is fixed

The person who pays should be the person the company calls. In practice that means a parent or guardian books, receives the written itinerary, and is the contact on file for the night.

The itinerary lists every pickup address, the venue, the hours held and the individual drop-offs at the end. The chauffeur does not deviate from it. If students ask for an extra stop, the chauffeur calls the booking parent — not because we distrust teenagers, but because that is what the parent paid for.

The alcohol rule is not negotiable

Where any passenger is under nineteen, the vehicle is alcohol-free for the entire trip. That is Ontario law, not a house policy, and no chauffeur will risk their licence to make an exception at 9pm on a Friday.

If alcohol or cannabis appears in the vehicle, the trip ends and the booking parent is called. Say this out loud to the group when you book — students who know the rule in advance almost never test it.

Three more things worth insisting on

  • Licensed capacity respected. A ten-passenger limousine carries ten students. Not twelve because two are small.
  • Individual drop-offs at the end. The night should finish with each student at their own door, and the booking parent notified when the last one is home.
  • A named chauffeur with a mobile number, shared with you before the evening starts.

Any company that hesitates on those three is not the company for a prom night.

Travelling to Toronto, or out of it?

Most trips that need a chauffeur also need a flight, a hotel or a car at the other end. BookingWorldwide.net covers all three — useful for wedding guests flying in, corporate teams heading to a conference, and anyone building a trip around the ride we are providing.

Straight answers

Frequently asked

Can students drink in the limo if a parent gives permission?

No. Ontario law governs consumption in a licensed vehicle, and where any passenger is under nineteen the vehicle is dry regardless of parental permission. This is not something an operator can waive.

Will the driver stay with the vehicle all night?

Yes. The chauffeur and vehicle are dedicated to your booking for the hours you reserve, and the chauffeur does not leave the vehicle unattended with students inside.

What if the group wants to change the plan on the night?

The chauffeur calls the parent who booked. Approved changes happen; unapproved ones do not. That is the entire point of a written itinerary.
